本案原為2010年最高法院與中研院近史所、臺史所數位典藏計畫合作案。最高法院檔案依據第二審審判機關的不同，包括上海、湖南、廣東及廣西等高等法院所審判的民事案件；以及山東、山西、河南等高等法院所審判的刑事案件。另有部分案件因政府遷臺，僅有上訴至最高法院的紀錄而尚未審決。

New Collection: The Written Judgements of China's Supreme Court (1930-1953)

This collection is the result of a joint digitization project involving the Taiwan Supreme Court, and the Institute of Modern History and the Institute of Taiwan History at Academia Sinica. It includes civil cases in Shanghai, Hunan, Guangdong and Guangxi; and criminal cases in Shandong, Shanxi and Henan. For some cases, only appeals filed to the Supreme Court are present, lacking the corresponding verdict, owing to the relocation of the government to Taiwan.

(1) The files range between 1930 to 1953, total 3,518 volumes.
